This Privacy Policy explains how Valore Fractional Brand Managers ("Valore", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AI Blog Automator application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

AI Blog Automator is a product of Valore Fractional Brand Managers, a marketing services company based in British Columbia, Canada. The App is designed to help service businesses generate and publish SEO blog content.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the App:

• Account information: Your email address and password (stored as an encrypted hash) when you register.
• Business information: Your business name, industry, region, website URL, and brand story — used solely to generate blog content in your voice.
• Connection credentials: Your website platform API key and location ID, stored securely to enable publishing. We do not share these with any third party.
• Generated content: Blog topics and posts created during your sessions, stored temporarily as drafts.
• Usage data: Basic logs of app actions (publish attempts, errors) for debugging. No behavioural tracking or analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Generate blog content personalised to your brand using the Anthropic Claude AI API
• Publish posts to your connected website platform on your instruction
• Save your brand settings so you do not need to re-enter them each session
• Diagnose technical issues and improve app reliability

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App for you.

4. Third-Party Services

The App connects to the following third-party services on your behalf:

• Anthropic Claude API: Your brand information and content requests are sent to Anthropic to generate blog posts. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed through their API. We do not send personally identifiable information beyond what is needed for content generation.
• Your website platform: Your API credentials are used to publish posts to your connected account. We act as an authorised agent on your behalf.
• Unsplash (image service): The App may fetch stock images for blog posts using publicly available image URLs. No personal data is sent to Unsplash.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing and are never stored in plain text. API keys are stored in encrypted form and are only used for the purpose of publishing on your instruction.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their own purposes. Information is only shared with the third-party services listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate the App on your behalf.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

8. Cookies

The App uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in during your session. This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you sign out or close your browser. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify registered users by email.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
